Postpartum Doula Services

It can be hard to figure out what life looks like after baby arrives.  Maybe you had a hard labor and delivery and need extra recovery time, maybe your partner needs to go back to work earlier than expected, maybe you don’t live close to family, maybe you have other children at home.  Whatever the case may be I’m there for you to support you emotionally and physically during your postpartum journey.  It can be challenging to care for yourself and your newborn and that’s where I come in.  I will be with you to assist in helping baby to have a healthy and productive nursing relationship with you, help running small errands to pick up diapers, wipes, or a few staple groceries or take out, help with possibly a much needed nap for you, for baby or both.  While I’m with you I will pick up where needed around the house, offer support in most any way you are needing it and make sure you are well cared for.  Mom’s often get left out after baby arrives but I’m here to care for you.  Please reach out to find out more information on postpartum doula services I offer.

What’s included:

  • Breastfeeding support
  • Emotional and physical recovery help after birth
  • Running small errands such as picking up a few groceries or other small pick up needs
  • Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding, bonding, comforting, and more
  • Light grocery shopping if needed or food order for delivery
  • Referral to local resources for parenting, pediatrics, emotional support groups, etc.
  • Washing and folding baby laundry
  • Care for baby while mother/parents nap, shower, etc.
  • Light housework if needed such as picking up, loading the dishwasher or putting away dishes
  • Unlimited phone or text support during contracted hours
  • Accompany mother to physicians appointments if needed to help with baby

Currently serving families in Central Arkansas.

Pricing:

  • $350 – 4 hour visit(s) to be used in one day or split up into two days
  • $620 – 12 hour total shift to be split into 4 days for hours of 8am – 9pm
  • $820 – 12 hour total shift to be split into 4 days for hours of 10pm – 7am
  • $80 per hour to set your own schedule or to add any hours to the above plans
